We regularly produce Health Plans for our beef farmers. We establish with the client what each farm’s business aims are, and then identify those areas of health and production to prioritise and improve in order to achieve these aims. We cover areas such as cow and calf health, nutrition, parasite control, fertility, mineral status, biosecurity and disease control. Some farmers are aiming for accreditation status for freedom from certain diseases and we can advise on the best course of action to achieve this. Often, we find that we can help our clients make efficiency savings by reviewing and fine-tuning their routine procedures e.g. by rationalising parasite control programmes.
