We at Farm First Vets are participating in a fitbit challenge to raise money for Farm Africa & Send a Cow. Each person must complete at least 10,000 steps per day until 18th October. Any donations would be gratefully received and can make a huge difference.
Sheep Meeting "SCRATCH OUT SCAB"
We are aware that many of you have recently struggled with control of sheep scab and lice in your flocks in the recent past. We are holding a meeting to look at this issue and different ways to control these ectoparasites. There will be a couple of speakers including our vet Vicki Fisher and a mobile sheep dipper, Kevin Leatherland will be attendance. Refreshments will be provided.
Please come along and join us at our Open Day on Wednesday 21st June at 12pm - 6.30pm. We will be introducing Neil Barrett a licensed category 1 foot trimmer and will have a range of cattle crushes for you to see. There will be a bbq and refreshments, competitions and much more.

We had another well attended microchipping day yesterday with the Dogs Trust. They managed to chip 187 dogs. So we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended and to the Dogs Trust and their volunteers for giving up their time.
We are going to run our car sticker competition again. All you have to do to have a chance of winning a prize is to be spotted with one of our stickers on display in your car. If you need a sticker please ask at reception.
